Shea Claire is an actor, comedian, and award-winning producer & director. From the world of professional ballet to a career that spans commercials, television, fashion, theater, and video production, Shea is known for her versatility, comedic instincts, and signature natural red hair.

 

As a director and producer, Shea won a Webby Award for “Best Use of Vertical Video” for her original series at Sotheby’s. In 2025, her production team earned four Webby Awards, cementing their reputation in digital storytelling.

Shea trained at the Atlantic Theater Company in New York and studied with renowned vocal coach Joan Melton; she currently continues her training under the mentorship of Karen Giordano (Actors Studio). As a comedian, Shea has performed at UCB NY, New York Comedy Club, The PIT, Stand Up NY, and more. She has also directed and produced the Off-Broadway holiday sketch show JOLLY AF: A Holiday Sketch Comedy Spectacular.

 

Shea’s modeling career began in Chicago, where she first worked with local fashion designers. After signing with agencies in New York, her portfolio expanded to include work in fashion, commercial, print, fit, beauty, lifestyle, e-commerce, fitness, and more. 

 

Originally from Michigan, Shea left home at sixteen to pursue a professional ballet career with Ballet Chicago. Her dedication led to performances with Carolina Ballet, Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell, and The Pennsylvania Ballet. After relocating to New York City, she continued dancing with Eglevsky Ballet, New Rochelle Opera, and other freelance projects—while also returning to her roots in jazz, commercial dance, and musical theater.
